Mini Tapestry Weaving
with Alice Seegar
Students will set up small frame looms to create a Mini Tapestry! Using colorful and textured yarn, wool fiber, sari silk, and ribbon, Alice will guide you in creating a small woven tapestry using a variety of techniques. Bring found objects discovered on nature walks or other small items to add to your tapestry. This is an introductory workshop. No Weaving experience necessary!
Supplies are provided but may purchase a loom in class ($20).

Mandated Reporter Training
with Ryan Jackson, LSW
The purpose of this training is to promote child safety by increasing the knowledge of Mandated Reporters. Participants will learn how to identify the signs of abuse and neglect and the process for making a report.
Date: March 20th
Time: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Format: Hybrid - Live online or join others in person at MVHS.

Carving Fruit and Vegetables - Paid Workshop

This is not a free course. We accept cash, check, and debit/credit card. When filing out the check please make it out to RSU 3 Adult & Community Education. If you are wantingt o pay by card please give us a call and we can help process that transaction for you.
This workshop is for people who attended the free workshop earlier this month and want to continue with the skill. The fee covers the price of the produce and a carving tool that will belong to the student after the class.

Fiddlehead Basket
with Jessica Steele
If you are hiking in the forest or wandering in your garden gathering plantlife, this basket is for you. Create your own nice basket for fiddleheads, mushrooms, or herbs. Size is approximately 4” W x 8" H x 10" L
Minimum of 8 people to run the class. If the class does not run due to low enrollment, refunds will be issued. No Refunds after the class starts. Only registrations with payment can be accepted.

Uh Oh - What's That Noise (In my car)
with Kerri Davis
This class is for the new driver, car owners going off to college, or someone who just wants to know what noises to take care of immediately and which ones are not emergencies.
Here is a preview of some of the topics Kerri will cover:
- The #1 mistake you should never make.
- Just because it's all you can afford doesn't mean you can't afford to maintain it (Teens and Early 20 year olds will drive their car until it is on fire because it's all they can afford).
- Check points on how to buy a great used car so you don't spend limited money on a lemon.
- Tips for a comfortable ride.
- What about those windshield covers?
- Horror Stories (like the oil cap that wasn't replaced by the service center-discovered on a cross country family trip).
- Is the repair shop scamming me? (Shops like to sell marked up useless services that they promote as a lifesaving hack). Bring your questions! Parents! Bring your teen drivers for half price!
