Community Walk

Just 2-4 of walking a week can make a huge difference in your health and how you feel. Living in Maine makes it hard to get out year around. Every Tuesday and Thursday the halls in the high school are marked with a course to walk indoors. One nice days, add a few laps on the outdoor track. Stairs or no stairs that is up to you. Lace up your sneakers, bring a friend, your ear pods, and spend a couple hours a week to walk!

American Sign Language

This introductory ASL course is designed for individuals with little to no prior experience in American Sign Language. Through immersive, hands-on learning, students will explore the fundamentals of ASL as a visual-gestural language while gaining insight into Deaf culture and communication. Minimum participants 6. Maximumm participants 10.

This introductory Medicare class is designed to help individuals approaching age 65—or those assisting loved ones— gain a clear, confident understanding of how Medicare works. With so many, parts, plans, and enrollment periods, Medicare can feel overwhelming. This course breaks it down into manageable, easy-to-understand segments. Minimum participants 2.

Fall Gnome Crochet
with Angel Frost

THis is a beginner frientdly Corner to Corner (C2C) Crochet class. Students will learn how to crochet projects by working from one corner of a piece to the opposite corner. Unlike traditional rfow by row crochet, C2C builds fabric in a staircase-like pattern, making it ideal for graph based designs, colorwork, and geometric shapes. Minimum of 7 participants. Maximum of 8 participants.
