Trapper Education

A trapper education course teaches participants how to responsibly trap furbearing animals and provides a foundation of knowledge upon which to build. Topics in the 10 hour course include proper trapping equipment and use, responsible trap setting, the importance of good wildlife management practices, and habits and traits of furbearers. Students must pass a written exam. All Trapping Education courses are home study courses. (Home study requires attendance at all sessions as well as study at home, in order to receive your certificate.) Students must be at least 10 years old and under 12 accompanied by an adult.  Part II will be held at the Trapper's Rendezvous at Windsor Fairgrounds on 9/17 from 8:30-4:30
